"Dear Management, The purpose of this letter is to give recognition and thanks to a staff member in housekeeping at your LTC. Her name is Ashley. One evening recently there was an operating problem with my mother's bed. Maintenance staff had gone home for the evening so I found a polite young lady who was working in housekeeping. I explained my problem to her and she said she would have a look and see if she could help. Well, she addressed the problem and solved it on her own. She could have said to me that this problem wasn't her responsibility and walked away. She didn't and I am grateful. This kindness and help couldn't have come at a better time for me when I was dealing with Mother's health crisis. When and employee goes out of their way to help residents, it is marvelous. I want all of Ashley's supervisors to know how valuable this young employee is to The Elizabeth Centre. Thank you ever so much, Ashley."
